Michael Douglas To Be Honored At The Palm Springs Film Festival

Michael Douglas had been diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this year. While his fans were heartbroken over the news, the actor has shown courage and has faced his illness very sportingly. Not only does Michael Douglas still perform chores like taking his daughter to school even though he has undergone chemotherapy, the actor is also keen to start work on his next project which is a biopic on Liberace.
Darryl MacDonald, the director of the Palm Springs International Film Festival said in a statement to the media that he feels honored to be able to present the Icon Award to Michael Douglas.
