Michael Douglas Seen Taking Carys To School

Oct 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Michale Douglas, who is undergoing treatment for stage four throat cancer, was seen this morning, Monday Oct 4, taking his seven year old daughter Carys to school in the rain.
Douglas, who is 66 was not well enough to travel to the Celtic Manor in Newport for the Ryder Cup, and so his wife, Catherine Zeta Jones has to go on without him. She left immediately after the opening ceremony, which she was a part of, and flew back to New York to be with Douglas.
Michael Douglas has made it very plain that his ordeal has shown him the importance of his family. He recently stated, “Once we’re through this, Catherine and I are talking about taking the kids out of school for a year and traveling around the world – Phuket and Vietnam. From now on I’m going to spend all my efforts on the people I’m closest to. As you get older, all of a sudden you begin to appreciate relationships, be understanding about the foibles of life.” according to the Pacific Coast News.
