Michael Douglas says that he found his dad Kirk very intimidating

Oct 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michael Douglas has revealed that he found his father “intimidating” when he was a child.
His father, Kirk Douglas did a number of movies during his Hollywood career and the “Wall Street” star say he felt overwhelmed with his father’s stamina in pursuit of his career.
Kirk was 27 years old, when he had Michael with his former wife, Diana Hill in 1944. The veteran actor’s acting career started shortly afterwards. Michael says he was astonished seeing his father work on so many movies during his acting career. He called his father Spartacus and said his father was consumed with his ambition and career. Michael Douglas recently blamed his father, Kirk for neglecting him and his siblings in pursuit of his acting career.
It may be recalled that Michael is currently undergoing chemotherapy in his fight to survive a throat cancer that threatens to end his career.
He is married to another star, Catherine Zeta-Zones and the couple have two kids. He divorced his former wife about a decade ago and his first son is serving a jail term for dealing in drugs. The actor has recently apologized publicly to his son for not being a “good” father to him.
