Michael Douglas: ‘Media outed Catherine Zeta-Jones Bipolar Disorder’

It ought to be mentioned that Michael Douglas was diagnosed with throat cancer some time back and he is receiving treatment for the same. On the other hand his gorgeous actress wife Catherine Zeta-Jones is suffering from bipolar disorder over the stress associated with Michael’s medical condition. Michael’s eldest son is behind bars in a drug related case.
In the interview he said that Catherine decided to come out in the open with her condition because it had already been ‘outed’ by the media.
The 66 years old actor said that, “I must say, Catherine’s being quite open about it because she was outed, you know.” Even though the family is going through some very hard times, yet Michael joked about it and said that, “My oldest son is in federal prison, my ex-wife is suing me, and I got cancer. It’s kind of hard for the wife to say, ‘I’m depressed.’”
On the other hand, Catherine said about her condition that, “If my revelation of having bipolar II has encouraged one person to seek help, then it is worth it.”
