The 31-year-old actor wants to become an anti-drug spokesman and act as a role model for teenagers.
Cameron was found guilty of cocaine and methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute and was sentenced five years imprisonment in New York in April, reports The Daily Star.
Cameron’s father Michael said that his son is now planning to use his own experiences to discourage teenagers from taking drugs.
“One of the things that Cameron wants to do once he finishes his term, is community service,” Michael said.
“I think he’ll be a great person to speak to junior high kids and everything. We’re moving on. He’s a great kid and I love him,” he added. (ANI)
