Michael Douglas Is In Precarious Condition, Says Oliver Stone

Oct 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ever since the news of noted Hollywood actor Michael Douglas getting diagnosed with cancer erupted, his fans are anxious to know how the actor is doing. The ‘Basic Instinct’ actor who has been in Hollywood for several decades now is back in focus owing to the release of his latest movie named Wall Street Money Never Sleeps. The director of the movie which is a sequel to the first Wall Street movie was recently in Berlin for promoting the flick. Oliver Stone, the director of ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ said in his statement that the cancer prognosis of the ace actor appears bleak and also added that his physical condition should be dubbed as precarious.
Michael Douglas acted in several successful and critically acclaimed Hollywood films and also won Oscar for his performance. He immortalized the character Gordon Gekko in the First Wall Street movie which fetched him the Academy award nomination. The actor is now coping with throat cancer and the treatment and prognosis have forced him to stay away from promoting the film which also stars Shia Labeouf. The actor is now undergoing the chemotherapy treatment for his ailment, sources close to him have reported.
The actress wife of the actor, Catherine Zeta Jones said a few days back to the media that the actor is putting up a brave front. The actor nevertheless attended the premier of the film in September in New York City but he did not talk with anyone at all. As of now the doctors treating him have not allotted any more dates. It remains to be seen how soon he recuperates.
