Michael Douglas - Has Nerves Of Steel

Douglas will play the lead in Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Liberace’. The shooting will commence in the month of May or June next year. The role requires special training in music for which Douglas has been undergoing his training sessions. Douglas added that he possesses tapes to refer to for the film. Douglas also added that he plans to go on a voyage across the world with his family. However, the plans will only materialize depending upon the condition of his health. Douglas has to take sips regularly to ease the dryness in his mouth. Douglas will also have to undergo a PET scan to find out the condition of the tumor. However, doctors at New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center have assured him of his recovery.
Catherine Zeta-Jones avoids any tabloid that has any news on Douglas and says that It does matter to her that Douglas is confined in the house, though he is doing much better.
Cancer has given Douglas a new perspective about life as he adds that the reality of life is hard to accept, though now he has realized the importance of family and love. Catherine has commented that Douglas has great strength of character to combat the deadly disease.
Fans of Douglas are hoping that he recovers soon from the deadly disease.
