Los Angeles, Nov 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michael Douglas has been left off the hook. This is because a judge has ruled that his former wife Diandra Douglas does not have any claim to the actor’s money anymore. Well at least that is what the judge feels in New York.

Diandra went to court to ensure that she gets 50 percent of Michael’s purse in the movie, “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”. She claimed that she was entitled to 50 percent of whatever Douglas will make from the movie because when Douglas first made the first “Wall Street” money, they were married. She claimed that their divorce settlement entitled her to 50 percent of any royalties that Michael made when they were married. And to her, that included “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”.

The judge however threw out the case because he said his court did not have the jurisdiction to sit on the case. Michael’s lawyer said that, “It’s been dismissed out of New York. I don’t know if she’ll bring a lawsuit in California [which would have primary jurisdiction because of residency]. But I think it would be foolish to do so and will be dismissed on the merits”.
