October 1st, 2010 - 2:23 pm ICT by ANINew York, Oct 1 (ANI): Catherine Zeta-Jones has said that her cancer- stricken hubby Michael Douglas is ‘doing very well’ and will complete his treatments soon.
“He is about to finish his treatment and the doctors could not be happier,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling People.com at the Ryder Cup’s Welcome to Wales gala in Cardiff.
She added that she attended the event in Douglas’ honor, who is an avid golf fan.
“Michael will be on Skype screaming for the Americans. He wishes he could be here,” the Welsh-born actress said.
London’s Daily Mail reported Zeta-Jones, 41, gave the welcome speech at the event, and teared up on stage as she spoke about her husband of nearly 10 years.
“Everyone couldn’t be happier with his progress. He’s holding up with great strength and dignity,” she added. (ANI)
