Aug 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ace Hollywood actor Michael Douglas who has many critically acclaimed and hit movies under his belt is back in news again. This time the Basic Instinct actor is hogging the limelight for his role in the upcoming movie named ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’. It is actually a sequel to the earlier Wall Street movie which fetched him many awards and oodles of critical acclaim. However, the veteran actor has expressed his apprehension about the doubts he has regarding the success of the movie. The star who got married to actress actress Catherine Zeta-Jones a few years back said in a recent interview that the monetary woes the global economy is going through may spell doom for the upcoming movie.
Actor Michael Douglas also said that he opted out from the sequel to the 1990s hit ‘Basic Instinct’ because he did not feel like acting in the role anymore. He said that while his co star Sharon Stone still has a great figure he is not so confident about exposing his body at this age. Michael Douglas may be skeptical about the sequel to the Wall Street movie but the showbiz industry veterans are of the opinion that the movie may actually click with the viewers. At least Oliver Stone the director of the movie thinks that the actor has done a commendable job in the sequel.
The trailer of the upcoming movie ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ is already out in the web. The viewers will love Michael Douglas reprising the iconic role of Gordon Gekko after many years, according to the director. The inclusion of young Hollywood hottie Shia Labeouf of Transformers fame is also something the director is counting on.
