Michael Douglas Los Angeles, Aug 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michael Douglas is scheduled to return to his role as Gordon Gekko in the hit series “Wall Street”. But the actor has other matters rather than only the script to worry about.

Michael Douglas’s marriage to his ex-wife, Diandra Douglas may be over for about a decade now, but Michael’s ex wife still has some rights to the renowned actor’s fortunes.

Diandra Douglas is demanding her share in the amount that the ace actor will be getting from his role in “Wall Street”. In their divorce settlement in 2000, Diandra Douglas was given the right to share in proceeds that comes from other Douglas projects that started while the couple were married and Diandra and her lawyers think that includes the proceeds from Michael’s latest role in the “Wall Street”.

But Michael’s lawyers argue that Diandra is demanding too much. They claim that the new role is not a spinoff and that Michael had not idea that the project was going to be awarded to him now. They claim that the project was not on the actor’s list of contracts when the couple split from their 23-year-old marriage.

Michael is currently married to another award winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.
