Michael C. Hall Apr 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Thirty-nine year old Golden Globe Award winner, Michael C. Hall has made a full recovery from cancer, and is now ‘cancer free’ according to his wife, Jennifer Carpenter. He had been battling with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since last year. He went public with his condition last January, before his attendance at the Golden Globe Awards, which his wife thought was “very brave” according to the San Fransisco Chronicle. He is reported as fully recovered after undergoing treatment for the disease. At the time he had gone into remission but was continuing his treatments, he said, “I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition … I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care.”

Hall plays the starring role in the television series “Dexter” which portrays events in the life of a police analyst who also happens to moonlight as a serial killer. His wife, Jennifer, plays the part of his unwitting sister. The executive producer of the show, Sara Colleton confirmed the news in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. She stated, “The guy is incredibly courageous and worked hard all through last season despite being sick. He’s an amazing human being and actor. It was scary, but the show will go on. We start shooting in late April or May, which is usual. We will not have to stall production.” The fifth season of the show “Dexter” will begin airing in September as scheduled.
