Mia Michaels Gets Ready To Judge Dancers!

miaLos Angeles, May 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “So You Think You Can Dance” came back on television screens yesterday for the seventh season and with it came major changes on the show. Choreographer Mia Michaels will be a permanent judge on the show this season which also means that she will now occupy the chair previously used by Mary Murphy. Mia Michaels will have to judge the performances of ten pairs of dancers on the show and according to the new format, the choreographer can eliminate only one dancer from “So You Think You Can Dance” in a week.

The show has aired its first episode for this summer on Fox. Speaking to the media in a press conference held before the show went on air, the renowned choreographer said that she will be a very strict judge this season. Being a dancer herself, Mia Michaels is well aware of the art and she will also expect the contestants to work hard and perform well, keeping in mind the nuances of the craft of dancing.

“So You Think You Can Dance” which premiered at 8 pm in the night yesterday is now on the search for the best dancer in the US with Mia Michaels announcing that they will welcome any kind of dance form on the show ranging from ballroom dance to ballets, with salsa and hip hop dancers also making a mark on the show. In this season producers of the show have announced that they will bring back contestants who were a part of the show in its previous seasons, and this is the first time that only ten people will be seen competing instead of the usual twenty.
