M.I.A. dedicates song to late Amy Winehouse

London, July 26 (IANS) Rapper M.I.A. has unveiled a song in honour of tragic singer Amy Winehouse.
The “Paper Planes” hitmaker released a track called “27″, paying tribute to the gallery of rocks stars whose lives were claimed at that age, reports contactmusic.com.
She told followers on Twitter.com the song was written months ago but never released, adding: “R.I.P A.M.Y.”
M.I.A. also posted the song’s full lyrics, which include the lines, “All rock stars go to heaven, you said you’ll be dead at 27″, and “I took you to the clinic to get you clean but you couldn’t, said in 2 days ur (you’re) 27 and and ur (your) destiny was comin’.”
Singer Amy Winehouse, 27, was found dead at her north London home Saturday night.
