Jan 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) SyFy Channel showed the movie Meteor Storm yesterday starring Michael Trucco. The movie deals with the theme of a passing meteor shower becoming a serious space storm that puts the San Francisco city at risk. Michael Trucco essays the role of a disaster official of the city and attempts to evacuate the residents to safety. A scientist, played by Kari Matchett tries to unlock the mystery behind the phenomenon. The scientist is faced with the challenge of stopping a meteor from getting drawn into a magnetic field that would lead to extinction. The star of this film, Michael Trucco, recently gave an interview and talked about various aspects of the movie and explained how he liked the experience of working in it.

The actor said that he grew up in California’s northern part. From his young years he was attracted to films and the entertainment industry. Working in Battlestar Galactica of SyFy network was a turning point in his career. He admitted that he was treated really well by the network. After working in the project he was approached by the network for Meteor Storm. The actor also said that his interest in Astronomy was a reason he did the film.

The actor thinks that movies with such theme work well because a lot of people are literally obsessed with the concept of apocalyptic doom. He bonded well with Kari Matchett while shooting for the movie. He said that his co-actor has an amazing screen presence. The director also helped him a lot to bring the character alive on screen.
