Meryl Streep says no to botox
January 9th, 2010 - 2:39 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )London, Jan 9 (IANS) Veteran Hollywood actress Meryl Streep says she will never resort to botox to preserve her good looks, because it draws more attention to a person’s features.
“The Devil Wears Prada” star likes to age gracefully and refuses to undergo cosmetic surgery, reports imdb.com.
“To each his own. I really understand the chagrin that accompanies ageing, especially for a woman, but I think people look funny when they freeze their faces,” said Streep.
“In Los Angeles there’s a lot of that. I pick up on the part that doesn’t move on a face. I’m immediately drawn to it and that is the opposite of what you’re intending. You pull focus to the area that’s been worked on,” she added.
