Dec 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Television actress Amy Locane who is best known for starring in the hit television series ‘Melrose Place’ is making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. The TV star is facing charges of aggravated manslaughter and assault with respect to a car crash incident that took place earlier this year in the month of June. The news would indeed come as a huge shock to her fans given the fact that if the actress is actually found to be guilty of the charges then she would have to spend around ten to thirty years behind bars.

Not only has the charges of aggravated manslaughter and assault come as a huge surprise to her fans but it seems that Amy Locane’s attorney Blair Zwillman was also taken by surprise when the charges that have been levied against the ‘Melrose Place’ star came to light. While talking to a media outlet, the television star’s attorney stated that he finds it had to believe that the charges have been supported by the law or the facts of the case while adding that according to him, the charges ‘constitutes over-reaching by the prosecutor’s office.’

The incident with respect to which Amy Locane is facing the charges took place on June 27 this year on the Cherry Hill Road located in the Montgomery Township of New Jersey. The actress who was behind the wheels of a Chevrolet Tahoe struck another vehicle that was attempting to cross the driveway which resulted in the death of the front seat passenger in the car while the driver was critically injured.
