Melissa Rycroft is pregnant with her first child
July 29th, 2010 - 1:11 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, July 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Melissa Rycroft is pregnant with her first child. She is married to Tye Strickland since the last 7 months. Her baby is due in February 2011.
The contestant of shows like ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is over the moon at the news and she made the announcement of her pregnancy on the TV show Good Morning America. She said to the host Robin Roberts that, “Apparently Tye and I wanted to see how many life-changing events we could fit into one calendar year. From getting engaged, married, new job, and we are now pregnant.”
However she did add, that she and her husband Tye who is an insurance agent were pleasantly surprised at the news, as they weren’t trying for a baby at this point of time. The 27-year-old Melissa had gotten married to 29 year old Tye in just December 2009. She also divulged on the show that, Tye wanted to start a family right away after their marriage but she wasn’t ready for it.
Melissa Katherine Rycroft was born on the 11th of March 1983 in Dallas. She was also a cheerleader for the Dallas cowboys. However she attained stardom with her stint on Dancing with the Stars and the show Bachelor.
