Melissa McCarthy’s Oscar look raises brows

Los Angeles, Feb 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Melissa McCarthy’s choice of dress has placed her in the category of worst dressed stars. The actress was nominated for the “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in the movie “Bridesmaids.”
During chat with host Ryan Seacrest, Melissa said that, “My dear, dear friend Brian Atwood made my lovely handbag and fantastic shoes for me and wrote a message to me on the bottom. We’ve been dear friends since high school. I read the [note] and started crying.”
Although there has been several criticism of the dress, Melissa has received some support from certain quarters.
Kelly Osbourne defended the dress when she said that, “I am so excited to see how good she looks tonight. She changed it up completely and the color on her is great, the beadwork is great. It makes me so happy to see her looking so beautiful.”
Melissa’s choice of dress comes as a shock. The actress is fashion conscious and graduated with a fashion degree. The dress was the subject on Twitter with some fans bashing her for the dress. Drew Elliot revealed that Melissa’s stylist should be fired for the work that she did.
Melissa had some support on Twitter as well. Her fans argued that what she wore was not as important as who she is.
