Melissa Gilbert files for divorce from Bruce Boxleitner

They had already been living apart for the last 5 months and even after living separately they couldn’t work out their differences so it was a prudent gesture to file for divorce. They have been married for the last 16 years. They also have one son together – 15 years old Michael Boxleitner.
Prior to this marriage, both have also been married in the past and Melissa also has a son from that relationship. Whereas the 61 years old Bruce has two sons from his previous marriage.
“We have loved each other for a very long time and we share four incredible sons together,” according to the 47 years old Melissa Gilbert.
Melissa Gilbert earned name and fame for Little House on the Prairie. Whereas 61 years old Bruce used to be a regular feature on Babylon 5.
Melissa’s younger sister – Sara Gilbert also has a rocky love life as she has also split from Allison Adler, who was her partner for the last decade. They have a 6 years old son and a 4 years old daughter together.
