Los Angeles, July 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In all probability, the legal battle between Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels is turning out to be real nasty. Reportedly, Melissa Etheridge has accused her partner of using their children as “Pawns” in their legal settlement.

The legal papers for separation was filed with the Los Angeles Court on Wednesday where Tammy Lynn Michaels has been accused of using the twin children Johnnie and Miller. It was on July 6th when Mellisa Etherridge had made a trip to Boston to visit the children but Tammy Lynn Michaels never arrived. Melissa Etheridge also said that she was surprised to be served with the papers of “Petition For Dissolution of Marriage and an Order to Show Cause” while she was in her hotel room. In accordance to the papers that was filed against Melissa Etheridge, she could only visit her children after August when she returns from her tour.

Melissa Etheridge approached the superior court with a petition to cancel the file-works of Tammy Lynn Michaels claiming that her papers were filed earlier. Tammy Lynn Michaels on the other hand told the media that she had never been served with any sort of “Petition for Dissolution of Domestic Partnership”. Melissa Etheridge claimed that she was the first one to have filed the papers and that the motion never demanded the serving of Tammy Lynn Michaels.

Last Monday the judge denied all requests of Tammy Lynn Michaels. This was right after when she had claimed that she was “Destitute”. The papers that were filed by Tammy Lynn Michaels depicted her earnings and expenses which includes $6,000 for rent, $800 for eating out, $1,500 for groceries and another $5,000 for her clothes.
