July 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “Mad Max” star Mel Gibson was declared dead last night in one of the reputed social networking sites. The news,however, came as a shock to his fans and they started searching uncontrollably and frantically on the web later to realize that it was only a rumor. The “Braveheart” actor had been in a lot of controversies in recent times owing to his estrangement from her ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva and his child Lucas’ custody related case. The actor was caught on tape in a racist rant and the picture of his ex-girlfriend where she is seen with a broken tooth because of domestic violence has created lot of buzz among people.

Mel Gibson is not the first celebrity who is subjected to these baseless dead rumors. The fans made a mad dash to the web in order to search the news and now they can breathe a sigh of relief as the truth is out! However, Mel Gibson can somehow seek assurance in the fact that he is not the only one to have got into all these virtual cycle of death rumor. He has joined celebrity bandwagons of death hoax which includes Russell Crowe, Lindsay Lohan, Jackie Chan, Robert Pattinson, Tom Cruise and the list goes on.

Celebrity death rumors have no beginning, middle or end. These rumors suddenly goes viral on web where a section of people who resort to these social networking sites for spreading these rumors about the celebrities. The rumormongers may do it for simple fun but these fake news can often be taken by the readers as truth leaving them in a state of shock and leading these rumors spread like a wildfire on the web.
