The latest offering from the “Transformers” stable, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” is generating a lot of hype. Most of it though is in relation to the lead actress of the movie, rather than the movie itself. In one of the promotional photos of the upcoming movie, Megan Fox’s thumbs are looking disproportionate.

The gorgeous actress, who at the young age of 22 is regarded as a worthy successor of Angelina Jolie, is captured on photographs with misshapen thumbs. The thumbs of both her hands look like they have either been clubbed or have been replaced by toes.

A polite word to describe the clubbed or misshapen thumb is brachydactyly. Brachydactyly means short finger, the nail of which is soft and wide. Doctors explain that it is usually a hereditary feature, which is passed on in the genes. Other reasons for its occurrence could be due to frost bite or an injury to the growth plate received in childhood.

What is most astonishing about the whole incident is that, the awfully disproportionate thumbs had never come in the public glare before. With so many camera lenses trained on her at every opportune moment, how could it have gone without notice for so long. Only in the wake of the release of the new movie it has been dragged into light.

It goes without saying that Megan Fox is one of the most beautiful actresses in her generation. She has been voted in countless polls as the one of the most beautiful people in the world. The present revelation, if true, just goes on to prove one popular saying, “No one is perfect”.
