Paramount Pictures, which released the first two films refused to give any information on who would replace Fox in the third film to be directed by Michael Bay.

Transformers from 2007 and its 2009 sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen received mixed to positive reviews from critics and made more than $1.5 billion worldwide. A representative of Fox, told the media that it was her decision not to return for the third film and she wishes the best for the franchise.

Fox, who is considered a sex symbol, has been notoriously famous for making attention seeking comments in the media and her spat with director Michael Bay during the release of part two last summers was known to everyone.
