July 3, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Hollywood actress Megan Fox has tied the knot secretly with her longtime on-off boyfriend Brian Austin Green. She kept the news of the wedding not only from the media and industry but also from her parents.

According to the reports, her father Franklin Fox did not know about the marriage, which took place at the Big Island of Hawaii on 24th June. Megan Fox was dating the 36 year old Green since 2004. In February 2009, they had a brief split.

Franklin Fox said that Megan called him up after the wedding ceremony and had sent him a photograph of the couple from her iPhone. As Franklin said, Megan looked very happy in the photograph. He further said that he had at least met Austin before and found him to be a good guy. He wished the couple a very happy life together.

On 1st June, 2010, Austin again proposed to Fox leading to this secret marriage. But later, the couple lost the 2 carat ring on the Hawaii beach.

The Transformer star’s mother Darlene was also not invited to the wedding. She said that the news of the marriage came as a surprise to her also. She could know about it from the media only.

Darlene said, “If Megan wanted to have something ‘low-key’ then it’s all right. If the news of the marriage is true then I will be happy as a mother.”

The couple’s representative has announced that Megan Fox is now Mrs. Brian Austin Green. He added saying, “Yes, it is true, they are married.”

Well, if Megan wanted a low-key wedding, its fine but can this fact justify her act of not inviting her parents to the occasion?
