New York, Jan 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There was some resemblance to the numbers that Jorge Garcia who played Hugo “Hurley” Reyes on “Lost” used to win lottery on the series and the numbers that many Americans won the Mega Millions.

Four of the numbers were amongst the winning numbers. As Garcia’s character in the series portrayed, he is trying to warn those that believe so much in lottery money.

At his personal blog, Garcia warned that lottery money may be cursed. He said that he wondered when people will learn. May be it is because he believes that most lottery winners end up worse. There are some statistics to back that believe up.

Garcia on his blog placed a $100 bill and told the winners to enjoy it. Before that he had said that “The numbers are bad.” The heading of the blog was more emphatic. It said “When Will People Learn.”

After the “Enjoy your” and the $100 bill, Garcia displayed a picture of the $50 bill and on it had the inscription “cursed” stamped over it.

About 9,000 Americans started the year on a lucky note when they won various amounts of money through the Mega Millions Jackpot. The biggest winners though were two guys who are going to share a whopping $380 million.
