Zee’s “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Challenge’ has finally come to an conclusion as the winner was declared tonight in a mega way wit lots of sitare performing live on stage. This also witnessed the celebration for the successful 1000 episode and journey which will be aired on Saturday, 12 December.

The competition was between West Bengal (Abhijit Ghoshal, Keka Ghoshal and Sanchita Bhattacharya) and Maharashtra (Vaishali Made, Kaushik Deshpande and Rohit Raut) where the latter team was declared as a winner. Sonu Nigam, Suresh Wadkar and Pyrelal were seen as the panel of judges for the grand night.

“West Bengal lost from the margin to Maharashtra. It was a grand night which saw the performances of Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Kailesh Kher and Kunal Ganjawala. The best sight was to see the performance of father-son, Udit and Aditya Narayan which wooed the audience,” informs the source.

The entire music fraternity was present on the occasion. The judges and the host of the show from Sonu to Afsha and Dhairya were felicitated with a cap as a honour. “Abhigyaan was awarded as the singer of the series as he took away the price i.e Zen Estilo car,” adds the source.

All together it was a musical journey of “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Challenge’ which has come to an end but this also witnesses the start of the fresh ride of Dance India Dance season 2. So keep watching this space for the more updates.
