Jan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Renowned rock star John Mellencamp seems to have found love in gorgeous actress Meg Ryan after his split from his wife supermodel Elaine Irwin Mellencamp! Some gossip sources came up with the news that the Grammy award winning singer is dating Meg Ryan. The actress has been spotted in couple of John Mellencamp’s shows in recent times and it made the media outlets speculate about their affair. However, neither the actress nor the singer has commented anything about it.

In December 30, 2010, John Mellencamp’s publicist announced that the rock star and his wife have parted ways after 18 years of their marriage. Some news sources concluded that Meg Ryan might be the reason behind the split. A reputed media source reported that the duo were seen walking hand in hand last October in Manhattan. The couple was seen buying groceries from Gourmet Garage, Manhattan on Monday and then they walked down the street together. Meg Ryan And John Mellencamp were photographed together in New York on Monday and it seemed that they are quite comfortable with each other. A gossip portal has reported that John Mellencamp has written a song for the musical adaption of Stephan King’s story “Ghost Brothers of Darkling County” and Meg Ryan is voicing one of the characters of the musical.

Meg Ryan separated from her husband Dennis Quaid in 2001 after 10 years of their marriage. “When Harry Met Sally…” actress cheated on her husband as she was dating actor Russell Crowe when they were filming “Body of Proof”. When asked about her affair with Russell Crowe, the actress said that her husband Dennis Quaid also cheated on her in their 10 years of marriage.
