Meet Meghana Raj, The Professional Dancer

Many of us are well acquainted with Meghana Raj the South Indian film actress. But did anyone hear about Meghana Raj the dancer? Well, the actress is also a dancer and what is more, Meghana Raj has been a regular face of several stage performances in cities across South India. In a statement to the media, the actress confirms that she loves dancing and has tried her best to give equal time to dance, now that she is a busy film actress. Meghana Raj has been trained in the classical forms of dance.
Meghana Raj is fluent in both the Tamil and Kannada languages, therefore language is not a deterrent for her in pursuing different film roles in different industries across South India. After a successful debut, Meghana Raj is also being offered roles in the Malayalam film industry. But the actress has no complains about shuttling from one place to another because of her work. According to Meghana Raj, it is through her work in films of different industries that she will be able to polish her acting skills.
Acting however runs in the blood of Meghana Raj, considering that she is the daughter of veteran actors Sundar Raj and Pramila Joshai. While her acting skills were inherited, dancing was something that she had to learn. Therefore it is dance that really rejuvenates her in real life.
