- London, November 08 (ANI): Rock star Liam Gallagher recently showed his soccer skills, when he took to the football field playing for bankrupt Berkhamsted FC in a fund-raising game.
A strong crowd of 200 people cheered the former Oasis frontman, as his side won 5-3 against the Arcadia Group at their own Hertfordshire ground.
“We recently refurbished Liam’s house and I asked him to play. It was great to see everyone’s faces when he came,” the Sun quoted Paul Smith, boss of club sponsor Stoneforce, as saying.
He added: “He raced up and down the wing and came close to scoring a few times. He’s pretty fit. Then he stayed until 1am drinking and telling stories.
“He even played the lads new songs. He had a great time.” (ANI)
