The frantic search was on. It was the search to find the successor of Miss USA 2007 Rachel Smith, a search to find an unofficial ambassador of USA, someone who’s beautiful in both conventional and modern terms and yet her beauty is not just skin deep. Well, we are already there. Crystle Stewart, of Missouri City, Texas has been crowned Miss USA beating all the other 51 beauty queens.
Miss USA 2008 will represent the country in the Miss Universe contest to held in Vietnam later this year. This was the 57th Annual peagant organized Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip and sired live by NBC.
She is not just beauty but brains also. She is an entrepreneur - the Owner of Inside/Out: Special Education Teacher’s Aide for Elkins High School. She completed her degree at the University of Houston in which her area of Study was Consumer Science and Merchandising. During her university years, she was doing as many as four jobs.
She also won the Swimsuit Award at the 2008 Miss Texas USA Pageant. She is very confident of herself. She says “As a fourth generation educator, I am a naturally gifted teacher and motivator. Additionally, I am a talented public speaker.”
Her hobbies and interests include Teaching autistic children in the Fort Bend ISD, Fundraising for various causes, Mentoring, Performing style make-overs and Online researching.
