mediumJan 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Medium” was one of the most-watched drama series that premiered on NBC on January 3, 2005. This supernatural-gifts themed series became one of the favorites of people since the time it debuted on television. However, unfortunately, it could not hold up to its standard over the years with which it started. The show never received the love and attention it actually deserved, and after spending seven psychic seasons on two different networks, This series ended its seven-year run that spent five years on NBC before it shifted to CBS in 2009.

The crime-solving and supernatural elements of “Medium” were fun, but the best part of the show always remained the realistic portrayal of a happy, stable family. “Medium” has had quite a long run. However, now it’s time for Allison Dubois, the main character of the show and her real-life portrayer, Patricia Arquette, to keep moving on. The show came to an end only last night and that has happened only for the good. Patricia Arquette has played the role of Allison Dubois as a complicated woman, a person who has a secret and mysterious life but at the same time, she also has the ability to deal with the daily routine of grocery shopping, carpools and keeping a marriage together with utmost ease.

Last night’s final episode brought the end of the show. It brought the main protagonist, Allison Dubois into picture. Although the series had consistently low TRPs for the past couple of years, it could be said that the show actually had a lot from which people could take a lesson, the most important of which is the family ties. The series had shown a lot of ups and downs of Allison Dubois and her husband, but the love that they shared with each other never seemed to fade away.
