London, Nov 24 (IANS) Singer Sir Paul McCartney was left embarrassed after he slipped and fell on the stage during a show in Brazil last week.
The Beatles star was performing some of his popular songs in the presence of 67,000 fans at the Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo. After wrapping up his performance McCartney headed for the wings when he tripped and fell over cables at the side of the stage, reports contactmusic.com.
The slip was caught on camera and projected on to the stadium’s big screen, leaving the audience aghast, but the 68-year-old refused to stay down and bounced to his feet to continue his exit.
