Mayoor’s new nickname - rewritten
January 18th, 2010 - 1:24 pm ICT by Sampurn WireAfter a horde of Kannada actors who got animal names attached to them, like Sudeep was called Gholi (Bull), Darshan was Gaja (Elephant), etc. it is now Mayoor Patel’s turn to join the league. He has got a new name and is now referred as “Hunja’ which means “cock’. This is because he is doing a film by that name.
Mayoor, whose career went downhill after his films Ninedhe Nenapu and Muniya didn’t work, is back with a new film and a new look. The film will be directed by his brother Jayanth and produced by Satyanarayana. It is scheduled to be shot in Bangalore, MM Hills, Srirangapatna and Mysore. The female lead will be played by Deepika, who was seen in Patre Love Padma and is a television host.
Meanwhile, Satyanarayana’s film, Kiladi Krishna, which stars Vijaya Raghavendra, has almost finished shooting.
