Dec 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Sing-Off kick started on Monday on Channel 11 and has thrown up quite a number of surprises for the viewers. Any music competition is likely to have a number of competitors but rarely the viewers get to see a band performing with all members in their thirties and forties. Make no mistake, the four women associated with Maxx Factor have music in their bones. Together they make a nice singing group. They are competing with groups of kids and teenagers which makes it all the more interesting for the viewers.

The group spent some time in Los Angeles and they think that the participation is the funny part for them. They are not like the overtly enthusiastic teenagers who want to make it to the top at any cost. However, they were able to bag one National Harmony Sweepstakes competition that took place in California earlier this year. Apart from that they also took part in some other musical competitions. Molly Plummer, who is the tenor of the group said that they try to mother the competing kids. It is something that comes naturally to them.

The group works at least once a week and tries to perform two times a month. However, the Sing -Off is a big competition for them and they are determined to give it their best. When they were selected for the show some of them found it incredible. When they were called up by the organizers and told that they made it to the last eight, they were elated. In fact the casting director of the program is fascinated with this group herself.
