Matthew Perry Returns To Small Screen With ABC’s “Mr. Sunshine”

mahsFeb 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the ardent fans of actor Matthew Perry who had been wondering for quite some time that where did the “Friends” star disappear, had their prayers answered last night when the noted television star was back on the small screen with his new show “Mr. Sunshine” that made its debut on ABC on Wednesday night. The pilot episode of the series which was aired last night turned out to be a highly entertaining experience of the 41-year-old actor’s fans who had tuned in large numbers to watch the new show. Apart from starring in the ABC series, Matthew Perry is the co-writer/executive producer of the show while he is also one of the co-creators of the program.

The premiere episode of “Mr. Sunshine” that was televised on Wednesday night introduced the main characters who would be featured in the show along with the “Friends” star which includes Allison Janney, Portia Doubleday, Andrea Anders, Nate Torrence, James Lesure, to name a few. In the new ABC series, Matthew Perry edges the character of Ben Donovan, a self-absorbed manager of a San Diego based sports arena known as Sunshine Center. The sitcom tracks the story of the center manager as he struggles with mid-life crisis with constantly trying to cope with the demands of his job as well as his erratic boss.

With the pilot episode that was aired last night, the makers of “Mr. Sunshine” surely have got large number of viewers hooked to the show with its interesting characters and bizarre workplace that provides the perfect platform for keeping the viewers glued.
