Los Angeles, Nov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kanye West used his time on the “Today” show to try and make up for his “mistakes”. The singer who was on the show to promote his new album spoke about his saga with the former president of the United States George W. Bush. During the interview Kanye West acknowledged that the words he used for the former United States president were harsh.
He said at the time that he inferred that the former president was racist he did not have enough information to have made that comment. In a moment of regret, Kanye West said that, “I would tell Bush, in my moment of frustration, that I didn’t have the grounds to call him a racist”. When Matt Lauer who was interviewing the singer pushed him, he said that, “Yeah, I’m sorry”.
That is the way to go Kanye because after the interview, the former United States president acknowledged that he was grateful for the words of the singer. He said that, “I appreciate that” when he was asked about what the singer has said.
It seems Kanye had a tough time during the interview with Matt on the show. After the show Kanye tweeted that, “I don’t mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show … and that’s a very nice way for me to put it!”
