October 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood actor Matt Damon has revealed in a statement to the media that his wife is pregnant and that he is very excited to play the role of a father to a baby girl. The Academy Award winner says that what makes him all the more happy is the fact that it is a girl, adding that he cannot wait to set eyes upon her. Matt Damon is married to Luciana Barrosa and the couple already share two children of their own, as well as a daughter from Luciana’s previous marriage. Matt Damon announced that he is “thrilled” to be a father yet again.

The soon-to-be father however has a complaint against himself. Matt Damon says he feels that he is not being able to take as much care of his wife as he should during her pregnancy days. The 40-year-old Oscar winner, however, is not much worried considering that his wife is living in New York, a place where the actor believes anything is available at any point of time during the day. Al the residents have to wait for is the delivery of the goods at their doorsteps.

While Matt Damon has tasted success at various points of time in his career, the actor feels that nothing is comparable to the happiness that a man experiences when he knows he is becoming a father. In his interaction with the media, while announcing his wife’s pregnancy, Matt Damon surely looked the happiest man in the world.
