Matt Cardle sorry for punching Dannii Minogue

He said that it was an accidental punch and he is feeling very bad about hitting his mentor. It ought to be mentioned that the above action took place when all the losers of the show were going towards the winner – Matt to congratulate him. And accidentally in the process, Matt smacked Dannii in the face. He later said that when he watched the tape, then he felt remorse for his action.
He also added that in order to make up he is going to gift a nice Christmas present to his mentor.
He revealed on the ‘This Morning’ show that, “I felt so bad watching it back - that’s really terrible. I have just tweeted her an apology about that. That was full on, wasn’t it? She’s been an amazing mentor, I can’t thank her enough. She’s going to get a great Christmas present from me when I get a chance to shop.”
Meanwhile the audience and the critics felt that Dannii was the only dignified judge on the show. The other judges of the show were regularly criticized for a number of things including their dressing sense.
