London, Feb 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Matt Cardle has announced that he wouldn’t rush his new album.

During an interview, the X Factor winner said that though he wants his album out as soon as possible, he wants to ensure that everything about the album is right before it does come out.

He told the Metro newspaper that, “I want the album out as soon as possible but it’s got to be right and it’s got to be ready. I don’t want to rush it out so it will be here towards the end of the year.”

The singer did a piece with Rihanna during the finals of the X Factor show. When he was asked about whether he would love to do it again in real life, Matt said that is a possibility. He however doesn’t believe that such collaboration was going to happen on his maiden album.

According to Matt, his ideal song would be a masterpiece that will have a “lot of energy and live feel to it then.”

Matt beat several other top contestants to be crowned the winner of the British blockbuster talent hunt show, X-Factor. A US version of the show would be premiered in the United States later in the year.
