Matisyahu Wows The Listeners With His Latest Album

Dec 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “The Festivals of Light” by Matisyahu has been declared a hit amongst his fans. The Williamsburg Music Hall witnessed a musical night that was marked by his electrifying performance. It is quite evident that his Festival of Lights that took place at the Webster Hall featuring his newest release ‘Light’ was a huge hit and all 4 night were full of excitement. However, the performance he churned out for his hometown was the best of the lot.
The band members poured in their best efforts. Aaron Dugan, the guitarist and Joe Tomino, the drummer were at their creative best. However, the attention of the listeners was fixed on Matisyahu more than anyone else. The listeners were amazed by the way he broke down songs and added loungy turns and trippy twists to them. He was ably assisted by Stu Brooks, the bassist and Rob Marscher, the keyboardist. Nothing could overshadow the exceptional vocal talent of Matisyahu. His singing skills and versatility coupled with his boyish charm and lanky figure made him a favorite with the viewers.
He adopted a new dressing style and it helped in breaking his religious image. Among the songs he sang, a track titled ‘One Day’ deserves special mention. The song has a cool looking music video that is sure to hook the viewers. In fact NBC has chosen it as the theme song to be used in Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. The song has got a huge number of followers on popular social networking site Twitter. The North America tour has been successful for the singer indeed.
