Akshay Kumar, the anchor of the recently concluded cooking show on Star Plus is quite impressed with the all the participants on the show, more so with the three finalists who were absolutely great hard working cooks who got the title of Chef while in the show’s final top three itself.

However, after having such a successful stint as the host of a cooking show, action star Akshay Kumar is all set to take up yet another challenge to host the show for the second season if  he has enough time in hand and if the organizers approach him.

According to the buzz, Akshay Kumar has maintained that today whatever name, fame and money that he has been bestowed with are due to the fact that he was fond of cooking and his love for action or martial arts. Thus in order to remain rooted to his grounds he would never give up his love for these two things which are of prime importance in his life.

Well considering the way Akshay has gained popularity amongst his fans and the participants of the ‘Master Chef India Season 1′ it would be an understatement to say that he would be the best host for the next season too.

Now all his fans are desperately waiting for the announcement of the next season to be made. However some reports do suggest that the ‘Master Chef Season 2′ would be launched sometime in the middle of 2011 but the host for season 2 has not yet been finalized. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that it would be the original action man Akshay Kumar this time too!
