Marysol Castro Bids Adieu To “Good Morning America”

Marysol CastroSep 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ABC morning news and chat show “Good Morning America” weekend edition has witnessed the departure of another of its popular correspondents. After Kate Snow and Bill Weir, its now the turn of Marysol Castro to bid adieu to the hit show. The popular television journalist who has been associated with “Good Morning America’ for the last six years, ended her stint on the show with an episode that was aired on September 26. It does not come as a bolt from the blue that news of Marysol Castro’s exit from the highly acclaimed ABC morning news and talk show has come as a huge disappointment to her large number of followers.

While reacting to her departure from the show, the 33-year-old television journalist described her thoughts on leaving “Good Morning America” as bittersweet as she had been part of the show for six long years. At the same time, Marysol Castro expressed her sadness about quitting GMA while recalling the wonderful times that she had experienced during her association with the ABC show. During her six year stint at the weekend edition of “Good Morning America,” the much acclaimed television journalist gained wide fame and recognition as the weather and features correspondent of the show.

With a period of last six months, Marysol Castro is the third ABC correspondent to quit the weekend edition of “Good Morning America” after Kate Snow who later joined NBC News as well as Bill Weir who is now associated with “Nightlife” after he joined in August. It has been reported that Marysol Castro decided to exit the show as she now intends to spend more time with her family.
