Nov.13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mary Weiland, ex-wife of American musician Scott Weiland, has recently released a memoir in which she has revealed intricate details of the disturbed period in her life when she was married to the much acclaimed musician. The memoir which has been titled “Fall to Pieces: A Memoir of Drugs, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Mental Illness”, Mary has given information about her disturbed marriage and extensive drug abuse which the couple resorted to.

The memoir, which has been written by Mary in collaboration with Larkin Warren, former Esquire editor, highlights shocking revelations about the couple during the period when they were still married. The book reveals that both Mary and her musician husband used heroin at regular intervals. Their addiction attained such horrific levels that they had to wear full sleeved shirts in a party that was thrown by Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio in Malibu.

Mary, who is a former model, had made headlines in March last year when she had torched down her husband’s wardrobe after supposedly having a fight with him. She was arrested by the police after the incident in which she reportedly burned down the wardrobe that contained apparel worth around $10,000. Details of the incident has also been included in the new book where Mary mentions that the total damage that was caused that day was much more than what it was estimated to be. Mary was then sent to a mental hospital but she was later released. Reportedly the former model took the decision of writing the book with the aim of eliminating the stigma that is normally associated with people suffering from mental illness.
