Aug 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The much anticipated “Weeds” Season 6 Episode 1 was aired last night on Showtime. The audience appreciated the show for its powerhouse star cast and wonderful performance of the actors. The protagonist of the series Mary Louise Parker received accolades of appreciation for portraying the famous character of Nancy Botwin in the show.

The “Fried Green Tomatoes” actress plays the role of suburban mother who becomes a drug dealer later. The actress seems to be very optimistic about season 6 and in an interview to a reputed media source she said that she relates to the character she plays in the series and considers herself very much like Nancy Botwin except the drug dealing factor. The actress jokingly said that if ever she decides to sell marijuana she would make it into “cupcakes” and “lollipops”! The actress has received many awards for the series and she is hopeful that this year also the show will woo the heart of the audience.

Mary Louise Parker in her recent interview said that she had always been a “darker person” in her life so playing the challenging role of Nancy Botwin was not that difficult for her. In the series Nancy Botwin enters the dangerous world of drug dealing and confronts the violent realities of her business as she deals with competitors, drug lords, blackmails etc. The workaholic actress said that she likes to “work” and loves acting. “The Five Senses” actress also commented that she somehow does not understand when actors complain about work. She feels lucky for the fact that she gets to do what she loves doing and for her it is an “amazing” feeling.
