Aug 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mary Louise Parker, star of television’s ‘Weeds’, has become quite a star for her role as a suburban mom who deals marijuana as the so called “Queen of Primetime Darkness” Nancy Botwin, but she says the role really is not that far off the mark as far as who she really is.

She stated that she actually considers herself to be very much like the character which she plays, except for the part about being a drug dealer. She did say that she has found out through her role that if she ever does decide to sell marijuana, that it can be made into brownies and lollipops.

“I’ve always been a darker person, a little Wednesday Addams girl,” stated Parker. She is the mother to two children, William Atticus, and Ash. And not every aspect of her personality is dark and rebellious. She actually can be a bit of a work-a-holic and is not ashamed of it.

“I like to work,” she stated to ‘Showbizspy.com’. “I don’t understand when actors complain… Youre getting paid to act…That I get to do what I love is amazing. I truly feel lucky that I get to do this.”
