Los Angeles, Feb 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Mary-Kate Olsen has split from her boyfriend Nate Lowman, of 2 years. Her representative has confirmed the news of the split. He said, “No, they are not [together]. It’s been a while.” It is now exactly known, when they actually split. Both of them had discovered each other through mutual friends and became a couple 2 years ago, in 2008. Some reports also suggested that the split was about to happen, since a while. The representatives of the actress and Nate Lowman refused to divulge the reasons behind the split.

It has also being learnt that the 23 years old actress Mary Kate is least affected by the split, and doesn’t seem to be heartbroken at all. In fact she was seen going out with Josh Hartnett at the Weinstein Co. and Universal Pictures BAFTA after-party in London last weekend. “They were making out in a dark corridor of the party. Everyone danced all night,” according to a source.

This is not the first split for Mary-Kate, as prior to dating Nate Lowman she has been linked with a list of men that includes the late actor Heath Ledger, the Greek shipping tycoon Stavros Niarchos. She split from her Greek shipping tycoon boyfriend in 2005, and she was heartbroken for a long time. The split affected her so much, that she even had to take a leave of absence from her studies, at the New York University. She said at the time: “I miss him and I love him. It’s a hurtful and a painful subject.”
