Mary J. Blige to star alongside Taraji P. Henson in I Can Do Bad All by Myself
March 20th, 2009 - 5:59 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Mar 20 (ANI): R&B singer Mary J. Blige is set to star alongside actress Taraji P. Henson in I Can Do Bad All by Myself.
The movie is Tyler Perry’’s upcoming film for Lionsgate, and is based on his play of the same name, reports Variety magazine.
Blige, 38, will portray a nightclub manager and singer who is a good friend to Henson’’s character.
Perrys signature character Madea will be featured in the film, and the filming will take place at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.
The movie is set for a nationwide release on September 11. (ANI)
