Washington, September 7 (ANI): Mary J. Blige has dismissed rumours that she will replace Paula Abdul as a permanent judge on American Idol.
“I’m not gonna be the next Paula Abdul. There was, maybe, three women that were incredible and three guys. The rest of it? A lot of it was like, “You can’t be serious!” Contactmusic quoted her as having told the New York Daily News.
The ‘No More Drama’ hitmaker was chosen as a guest judge to critique contestants alongside original judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Kara DioGuardi on the upcoming season.
Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Shania Twain, and Neil Patrick Harris were the other personalities booked for appearing as guest judges. (ANI)
