Mary Hart Replaced by Nancy O’Dell on Entertainment Tonight

Nov 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Nancy O’Dell , who is the former co-anchor from the television show ‘Access Hollywood’ is all set to replace Mary Hart, on ‘Entertainment Tonight as the former co-host retires in January.

In August, Mary Hart announced her plans to retire from ‘ET’ after almost 30 yes with the show. O’Dell announced that she would be leaving ‘Access Hollywood’ in December, after spending thirteen years with them. She is currently working for NBC’s ‘Dateline’ and ‘Today Show’ as a contributor. She is reportedly very happy about the new position.

“I remember watching Entertainment Tonight when it first premiered and dreaming about working for the show someday. I am honored to be the one chosen to fill a TV legend’s seat and I hope I can do her proud!”

Mary Hart seems satisfied with the choice as well. She shared with ‘People’, “Leaving this job was not an easy decision, but knowing I will pass the baton to Nancy O’Dell makes that decision much easier. Nancy is a talented and respected entertainment correspondent. We have spent many years working on opposite sides of the celebrity battlefield, and I know the show will flourish with Nancy as co-anchor.”
